DESCRIPTION:

I always enjoy proposing unusual or uncommon characters, so I don't expect you all to know who is Samantha Everett, protagonist of "Gray Matter" (a beautiful graphic adventure released years ago for Steam and Xbox 360). Well, if so you absolutely have to play it, it's still worth diving into the curious story involving Sam and the mysterious Dr. Styles, of which my boyfriend made a cosplay himself that you can see in a dedicate section below my set!
Samantha is a magician/illusionist who

wanders around on her motorbike in

search of fortune. Her aim is to unearth

the prestigious and secret Daedalus club

which welcomes only the best magician

and illusionists, and for this she will have

to solve a series of puzzles and riddles.

However, her path crosses that of the

famous and brilliant Dr. Styles: it's a rainy

evening and her motorbike breaks down,

the only place to take refuge is the

Doctor's big house right in front of her.

Samantha, by a lucky coincidence, thus

manages to pass herself off as Styles' new

assistant, a "small" deception just long

enough to refresh herself and earn some

money, if not that she will then find herself

involved in something   bigger   - until

involve  other people to participate in the

mysterious  experiments of Dr. Styles-.

Sam uses her magician's tricks to influence

others and help the Doctor, gradually

discovering the reality and the painful past

hidden behind David's mask.

She will find himself both wanting to help

him and wanting to unmask the tricks

behind the apparently paranormal

phenomena that take place during Styles'

experiments. This in broad  terms. I really

liked the game, as well as I found its very

fun to implement magician tricks to solve

various   puzzles   or   persuade   others

charcaters!     A graphic     adventure

with her own style and a beautiful story

by the same author of games like Gabriel's

Knight (Jane Jensen), which unfortunately

did not have a sequel,   but   which    was

greatly appreciated by fans of the genre.

Samantha is a protagonist who is loved for

her charisma and sense of humor, for her

alternative look and for her perseverance. I hope that those who still remember and love Gray Matter will be able to appreciate my tribute to Sam! In some photos I have inserted a couple of scenarios of the game, others I have put my interpretation, I didn't have many means but I think it's good.
Not being a particularly elaborate cosplay, I tried to pay as much attention as possible to the details (I chose to refer to the 3d model of the game on Xbox, rather than to Samantha depicted in the concept art).
I'm sorry if, as often happens for me, not all the photos are of good quality: I had a lot of difficulty shooting by myself, and unfortunately I only realized after the set was over that... ALL the full length photos were blurry ç_ç (I wanted to die).  I managed to recover them only thanks to an AI for focus, so as to allow me to work and recover the details without trashing all the work. Perhaps on the other hand the result is a bit artificial, but hey, I couldn't have done anything alternatively. Meanwhile, I hope I made someone exclaim "oh my god yes, I remember it!"
