This is a rather old cosplay, from over 10 years ago:
they were my first jobs with post production, and I wasn't very skilled yet.
But above all, I wasn't yet so meticulous with the details of my cosplays, which is why I hadn't bothered to look for fabrics more faithful to the original character, to pay more attention to some details (like the brown méches she has on her black hair in front), to create the weapon he uses in the game or to create a best set together with his faithful dog, Angelo.
I think today I would have done everything differently, and perhaps better!
After all, if nowadays I wanted to cosplay a character from Final Fantasy 8, I would definitely not choose Rinoa, but rather the magnificent Edea.
Rinoa is a character that I appreciated but only knew through friends' stories. At the time, I didn't yet have a PS1 and couldn't play FF8. This is why she is a character who, ultimately, I have never felt very similar to me. I always tend to want to ignore this old cosplay of mine, but it has sentimental value due to the help my mother gave me with the tailoring part.
Maybe it's lucky I wasn't so fussy, or I would have driven her crazy :D
